I have a thorough understanding of web technology and it’s social development, combined with the aerial view of an business strategist and marketer.
I spend my days working as a business developer for digital media at SpareBank 1 SMN, a Norwegian savings bank, located in Trondheim, Norway, where I’m working with various digital projects as well as managing our social media presence.
In the summer of 2010 I graduated from NTNU, finishing my Master of Science in Industrial Economics and Technology Management by writing my master thesis on “Social media in B2B branding”. The thesis was written in the spring 2010 in Manchester, at various Starbucks outlets (not about Starbucks though) whilst consuming quite a few grande filter coffees. Not one for them fancy brews, no.
Sharing thoughts and findings from the research process was the main reason for starting this blog in the first place – but it didn’t turn out that way (may I blame Manchester?). The thesis on Social Media in B2B Branding can be downloaded here for those interested.
On this blog I will pull out and highlight interesting content about various topics concerning the digital space, i.e. curating content with my own comments and thoughts. Irregularly I’ll also provide some (hopefully) useful insights.
Since the late 90s I’ve been developing web sites, and it developed into the founding of Arctic Design in 2002; a web development company which served the local market in Finnmark, Norway. A couple of years later I moved to Trondheim to get educated and I took the firm with me – still serving the market I first started operating in.
